Family Resource Center of Truckee

The FRC of Truckee provides a wide array of services to Truckee residents such as early childhood enrichment classes, access to healthcare, access to affordable housing, energy conservation assistance, and an emergency fund.  In addition, the FRC of Truckee provides free legal assistance through its Community Legal Program by providing consultations to Truckee and North Tahoe residents in the areas of landlord tenant law, wage and employment claims, small claims, and other miscellaneous civil matters.  We also offer Parent Project classes for families with children 5 and over.

Program & Activities

Free legal consultations, assistance with court forms, and legal workshops.  Parenting classes for families with children from 5-17.  Scholarships available.

Region Served

Legal Services and Parenting Classes are offered in the California communities of North Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Our other programs are offered to Truckee residents; but similar programs are offered by the North Tahoe FRC to Lakeside residents
